Course description:
Today's institutions face a world that differs from the world we lived in years ago, through the emergence of various challenges produced by many variables in a rapidly changing and developing world. Perhaps the phenomenon of globalization and the increasing intensity of global competition in the service production market and technological developments constitute the core of these challenges that management faces today. Dealing with these changes requires the institutions’ managements to find radical solutions to various of these problems by redesigning and innovating their operations in a manner consistent with the requirements of continuous development in quality, with a focus on providing effective services to customers and reducing the time and costs resulting from completing the work (optimal exploitation of their resources). ), as well as overcoming the problems of repetition and overlap in the completion of work, and overcoming the problem of lack of integration in information and the problem of organizational boundaries, which are among the most important challenges facing the decision-making process.
